Setting up a new project at Buffer

When starting a new project at Buffer, here’s how we recommend setting it up across our tools.

1. Create a new project in Linear
   • Add it to an existing initiative if applicable
2. Create a new Slack channel (if needed for day-to-day collaboration)
   • Format: #proj-[name-of-project]
   • Integrate the Linear project with the Slack channel
3. Use an existing Campsite space or start a new one (for broader project context and updates)
   • Most projects can live in broader camps like Marketing, Engineering, etc.

Wrapping Up a Project:

• Mark the project as completed in Linear
• Resolve related Campsite posts
• Archive the Slack channel if no longer needed
