Campsite is our go-to space for asynchronous communication and project collaboration, especially for updates, decisions, and long-form thinking. It complements tools like Slack (for real-time), Linear (for task tracking), and Notion (for documentation).

Campsite is where we:
- Post proposals and decisions for async discussion
- Keep cross-functional collaborators in the loop
- Give context and visibility to work happening across the company
- Host thoughtful reflections, launches, or learnings
Our team-wide Campsite channels are:
- Announcements: Team-wide, must read information. Please stay up to date on all posts here!
- Time Off: Share more about your time off and hand off plans
- Chatter: Work-related discussions.
- More: Our Campsite channels
How to share cross-team updates in Campsite
- If your post is something that doesn’t need to be shared with the full team, but does need to be shared with more than one team, we recommend sharing with the primary team and then cross-posting the update in the other team's primary channel.
- This means sharing the main post in one channel and then sharing a separate post in the other channel linking to the original
Adding a new Campsite channel
You don’t need permission from the People team to create a new Campsite channel — but we do encourage teammates to keep things as organized and minimal as possible.
Here’s our guidance:
- Use an existing channel if you can. Most projects can live in your team’s existing channel without needing a new one.
