If you are an international teammate planning a trip to the U.S. for either a retreat or an on-site (or another Buffer-related business trip!) we’ve put this resource together to help you prepare for your travels!

For teammates who are citizens of countries that are apart of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), we recommend that you enter the US under the VWP. This means that you do not need to apply for a Business Visitor Visa (B-1).

The Visa Waiver Program is available for citizens from the following countries:

Please note: It is not the country of residence that enables people to use VWP; rather it is the country of citizenship that enables them to use VWP. Further, there are other requirements for the VWP such as never previously being denied a visa. See this link for more information: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visa-waiver-program.html.

To Enter under the Visa Waiver Program be sure and apply for a New ESTA:

Who You Are:

• You are a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program country.
• You are currently not in possession of a visitor's visa.
• Your travel is for 90 days or less.
• You plan to travel to the United States for business or pleasure.
• You want to apply for a new authorization for one person or a group of applications for two or more persons.

What You Need:

• Valid passport from a Visa Waiver Program country
