The Salary System allows for a simple and consistent way to handle exchange rates. We will update exchange rates every 6 months by looking at the median exchange rate over the previous 12 months. We landed on using the median over the trailing 12 months as the median will automatically exclude any outliers and help smooth out the variance in the exchange rate over time.
