How to add a Secondary login in Expensify

Adding personal email as a Secondary Login to your account

Note: This will need to be done from the web, and you will not be able to add a secondary email using the mobile app.

Go to Settings > Account > Account Details > scroll down to Secondary Logins > click the Add Secondary Login button.
Enter your personal email.

Note: Please use your personal email and not phone number since the number of countries that Expensify can send outbound SMS for authentication is quite limited.

You'll be prompted to enter the Magic Code that was sent to the email address you're adding as a Secondary Login to validate the personal email.

Important notes about Secondary Logins:

Secondary logins can only be added if the email address is not already linked to an existing Expensify account. If your personal email is already linked to your primary account, kindly disregard the above process.
Ensure you keep both email addresses linked to your account, with the @buffer.com address being your primary.
If you want to remove a Secondary Login from a primary account but no longer have access to the primary account, you can disconnect a Secondary Login from the Expensify web sign-in page.
Go to www.expensify.com and click Email to enter your Secondary Login, then click Unlink Account to remove the Secondary Login from your inaccessible primary account.
