We invite all new parents to take 16 weeks of fully paid time off.

This applies to all new parents (of any gender), welcoming a new baby in the form of childbirth or adoption.

There are no tenure requirements, but we ask for at least 3 months of notice. In Timetastic, please use the category called “Family or Long Term Leave.”

When you return, your manager and team will understand that, as a new parent, you may need a bit of extra flexibility for a couple of weeks, as you adjust to a new schedule and household routine. Please just communicate closely with your manager during this time.

Based on the current needs and size of our team, ideally, taking your leave consecutively will likely work best. With any leave, there is a winding down and ramping up period to consider. If you have a special circumstance where you’d prefer to break your leave up, we’d ask you to discuss it with your manager before making any plans.

Or, you can follow your country’s guidelines. (Expand this section for more.)

After discussing your leave with your manager & team, please follow these steps:

Please note that you are still encouraged to take vacation in a year that you have taken family leave. Family leave is not vacation! 😅
