We invite all parents to take 16 weeks of fully paid time off.
- There are no tenure requirements.
- We ask for at least 3 months of notice.
- We understand that, as a new parent, you may need a bit of extra flexibility for a couple of weeks, as you adjust to a new schedule and household routine. Please aim for roughly 75% capacity for the first two weeks back as you catch back up. As always, please coordinate with your manager and team as needed.
- Based on the current needs and size of our team, ideally, taking your leave consecutively will likely work best. With any leave, there is a winding down and ramping up period to consider. If you have a special circumstance where you’d prefer to break your leave up, we’d ask you to discuss it with your manager before making any plans.

After discussing your leave with your manager & team, please follow these steps:
- Please book your Family Leave through Timetastic under the category called Family/long-term leave.
- Enter your tentative leave dates in Notion here ‣
- Please kick off a family leave planning doc with your manager, and invite Jenny & Caro.
Please note that you are still encouraged to take vacation in a year that you have taken family leave. Family leave is not vacation! 😅
