Healthcare coverage will continue on Buffer’s plan until the end of the month in which you leave Buffer.

After the final day of coverage, you'll be eligible for coverage for up to 18 months through COBRA, a federal act that gives workers and their families who lose their health benefits the right to choose to continue group health benefits for limited periods of time under certain circumstances.

You will receive additional information and details around COBRA directly from Zenefits.

Please note that should you elect to continue coverage through COBRA you will be responsible for paying 100% of the premiums. Buffer does not offer premium assistance for those who opt into coverage through COBRA.
